Tentative Syllabus for Lab
NOTES to help you navigate through this LAB schedule: Each row corresponds to a week during the semester. If you’re taking this course asynchronously, you will either be in a group of other asynchronous learners, or possibly with synchronous learners. Either way, you and your group will have multiple opportunities to meet with me to discuss progress on these “hands-on” activities that will engage you and advance your learning.
There are two (2) major activities: Experimental evolution simulations and use of open access data to explore geographic distributions. There will be low stakes activities I will use to assess your progress, and two research reports, which will be higher stakes assessments.
